Product Details

Dried insects are acidic. Left on the paint, they begin to etch into the clear coat within days, leaving marks that no amount of washing will remove. IMPACT is a ready-to-use pre-wash that softens and breaks down that residue chemically, so it releases from the surface and rinses away — rather than needing to be scrubbed off, which is how the damage usually gets worse.

It works on the areas insects hit hardest: the front bumper, mirrors, windscreen and grille. Use it as the first step of the wash, before the mitt touches the paint.

Why it matters?

• Breaks down the residue — softens splatter so you don't have to scrub.
• Protects the clear coat — clears the acid before it can etch.
• Ready to use — no mixing, straight onto the panel.

How to use

1. Rinse the front of the car to clear loose grit. Work on a cool surface, out of direct sun.
2. Spray onto the bumper, mirrors, windscreen and any bug-covered areas.
3. Leave one to two minutes to soften. Don't let it dry.
4. Agitate stubborn spots gently with a detailing brush.
5. Rinse thoroughly, then carry on with the wash.

THE FORMULA

Softens, so you don't scrub.

The damage from insects happens twice — once from the acid, and again from scrubbing the hardened residue off. IMPACT is formulated to remove the need for the second. Break the residue down chemically, and it rinses away on its own.

BETTER TOGETHER

IMPACT is the first step of three.

IMPACT clears the bugs before the wash. FUSION washes safely. SPECTRA seals the paint after. Each formula sets up the next — and the kit below adds the mitt, both drying towels and the pearl towel, so every step has the right tool.

Questions, answered.

Everything you might want to know before you buy. Anything else, just ask.

Do I need to dilute it?

No. IMPACT is ready to use — spray it straight onto the affected areas.

Is it safe on my paint and coating?

Yes, on paintwork, glass and metal, including waxed, sealed and ceramic-coated finishes. Take care on unpainted plastic trim, and don't let it dry on any surface.

Can I use it on a hot car?

No. Work on a cool surface, out of direct sun. On hot panels the product dries before it can soften the residue, and heat increases the risk of etching.

What if the bugs have been on there for weeks?

IMPACT will still soften and lift the residue. If the acid has already etched the clear coat underneath, that damage is separate and won't come out with a cleaner — which is why removing insects early matters.

Do I use it before or after washing?

Before. It's a pre-wash step, so the residue is cleared before the mitt touches the paint.
