Product Details

A clean car isn't a protected car. Without a layer on top of the clear coat, the paint takes the UV, the rain and the road film directly — and it dulls.

Traditional waxes protect well but take hours to apply and cure. SPECTRA bonds to the clear coat as you wipe it on, forming a slick synthetic layer in minutes rather than an afternoon. Water beads and runs off instead of sitting flat and drying into spots, grime has less to hold onto, and the paint looks deeper and wetter. Use it on a freshly washed car, or as a quick top-up between washes.

Why it matters?

• Polymer barrier — guards against UV, weather and water spots.
• Beads and sheets water — rain and grime slide off instead of sticking.
• No white residue — safe and clear on paint, glass, plastic, wheels and tyres.

How to use

1. Start with a clean, dry car — sealant bonds to paint, not to grime.
2. Mist lightly onto one panel at a time.
3. Spread evenly with a microfiber towel.
4. Turn to a dry side and buff until clear, before the product dries unbuffed.
5. Move on panel by panel.

THE FORMULA

Protection that takes minutes.

Most people skip protection because the traditional version is an afternoon's work. SPECTRA is formulated to bond as you wipe — so the layer that takes the UV, the rain and the road film instead of your paint goes on in the time it takes to dry the car.

Questions, answered.

Everything you might want to know before you buy. Anything else, just ask.

How long does it last?

It wears gradually with weather and washing. The simplest way to know when to reapply is to watch the water — when it stops beading the way it did and starts sitting flat on the paint, it's time to top up. For most people that's every few washes.

Can I use it over an existing wax or ceramic coating?

Yes. SPECTRA layers over wax, sealant and ceramic coatings, and works well as a top-up to refresh protection between full details.

Does the car need to be completely dry?

Yes. Sealant bonds to the clear coat, and applying it to a wet or unwashed car prevents it bonding properly — and seals dirt underneath.

Will it leave white residue on trim or tyres?

No. It's clear on paint, glass, plastic, wheels and tyres, so you don't need to work around trim the way you do with some waxes.

What if it goes hazy or patchy?

That happens when product is left to dry before it's buffed. Work one panel at a time, and always buff with a dry side of the towel. If a patch does dry, re-mist that area and buff it off.

Is this the same as a ceramic coating?

No. A ceramic coating is a semi-permanent layer that lasts years but requires extensive preparation and often professional application. SPECTRA is a sealant — far less durable, far easier and quicker to apply, and topped up regularly rather than applied once.
