Product Details

Glass is unforgiving in a way paint isn't. Anything left on the surface — a smear of cleaner, a stray fibre, a patch wiped with a wetter part of the cloth — becomes invisible in flat light and then shows up as glare the moment you drive into low sun.

A plush towel is the wrong tool for it. Deep pile holds too much liquid, releases it unevenly, and sheds fibres onto a surface where a single one is obvious. The flat waffle weave does the opposite: the raised grid picks up cleaner and film evenly across the whole surface, the low profile means the towel glides without grabbing, and there's no loose pile to leave lint behind.

Use it in two passes — the damp side to wipe, then a dry section to buff. That second dry pass is what takes off the last of the film and leaves the glass genuinely clear.

Why it matters?

• Waffle weave — even pickup for a streak-free finish.
• Lint-free — clear glass with no fibres left behind.
• Smooth glide — easy to buff without grabbing.

Care instructions

Wash at a maximum of 40°C, with other microfibers only. No fabric softener, no bleach, no tumble drying. Keep it separate from towels used on paint or interior surfaces — wax, dressing and polish residue transferred onto a glass towel is one of the most common causes of streaking.

THE SPEC

Flat, not plush.

Most microfiber is sold on softness and pile depth. Glass wants neither. It wants a flat, even surface that picks up liquid consistently and has no loose fibre to shed — which is why the waffle weave exists and why a drying towel makes such a poor job of a windscreen.

Questions, answered.

Everything you might want to know before you buy. Anything else, just ask.

Why can't I use a normal microfiber towel on glass?

You can, but plush towels hold too much liquid and release it unevenly, and their loose pile sheds fibres — both of which show on glass in a way they never do on paint. The flat waffle weave picks up evenly and leaves no lint.

Why do my windows still streak?

Three usual causes: the glass was warm so the cleaner evaporated before it was wiped, the towel already had product residue in it, or there was no dry buffing pass. Work on cool glass, keep the towel clean, and always finish with a dry section.

Should I spray the cleaner on the glass or the towel?

On the towel, especially inside. It keeps liquid away from screen edges, seals and electronics, and gives you better control.

Can I use it on infotainment screens?

Yes. Mist onto the towel rather than the screen, and wipe gently.

Why keep it away from my other towels?

Wax, sealant and dressing residue transfers between towels in the wash and on the shelf, and even a trace of it on a glass towel causes smearing. A glass towel should only ever see glass.

Can I use it dry?

For a quick dust or a light smear, yes. For anything more, use it with a glass cleaner — dry wiping just moves the film around.
